Working in 51talk

This company is a scam. Please stay away from it.

CONS

1. To start 51talk will not be your employer. You will use your own computer and internet connection.
You will be considered a "service provider", that means you will not have the benefits of an employee like SSS, Pag-ibig, Health insurance and others.

2. You are only paid 50php per 25 minutes class.

3.  The penalties are 200php for a class you cancel and 300php for a missed class.
     There are also penalties for being late and not completing the full 25 minute class.
    So imagine if you missed 4 classes, that's 1200php but your rate is only 50php.
     You do the math.

4. There is no support. Well there is but they are useless, they don't reply to you and if they do
    they are rude and unhelpful.

5. Disputes, they will not give your hard earned money back. No matter what you say, they will find some excuse not give your money back. It's true.

6. They encourage you to buy your own equipment. While not spending a dime on you.

7. If a student complains, there's nothing you can do about it.

8. No job security they, they fire people for no valid reason

They will do anything to take money from you! I swear they will it's crazy.


PROS

1. You can control your time.


IN MY OPINION THE WORST COMPANY TO WORK WITH.
